Tyrone Slothrop's Desk

Mind Heist

My name is Tyrone Slothrop. I used to serve a lieutenant in the US ARMY commanding numerous platoons and companies. Now why the hell did I choose this song? It began three months ago when I was taken out of my commission as a lieutenant and assigned to a special assignment... I was ordered to find a “Black Device” inside the world’s first ballistic missile, the V-2 Rocket, invented by the Germans to destroy European cities. I had no choice... no sooner I was deployed to London and appointed to work for ACHTUNG, a highly top-secret operations unit of the British military that organizes England’s top spies and secret missions to overthrow the Nazis of Germany. This song depicts my life experience from the start of my first step in this city, London... my relationships and contacts with beautiful women of England... my countless encounters with different people, not knowing whether they are my companion or the one to put a bullet through my head... the dangerous atmosphere of European cities as World War IIignites terrors within the minds of men, women, and children... and... my quest to find the conspiracies behind my shadow.

Dreams... Flashbacks... Hallucinations.... are what I have, had to go through from the first time I opened my eyes... or is it all just a dream? Since the time of my service in World War II, my hallucinations have worsened and it has been taking over me. From then on, each day I would suffer unspeakable paranoia... Sometimes I would even talk to my other self... he seems to have a better live than me... I would feel elevated from own body and watch myself walking...walking... to nowhere without any purpose. Why is it that every time I travel to a place to rest and leave, a Rocket would drop killing innocent lives? Why has it never drop in front of my eyes? Is my life so far been a manipulation controlled by the government? Am I just living inside a tube with chords tangled around my head?
